After our Chinatown adventure, we took the MRT to Harbour Front station because we wanted to visit more of Sentosa aside from our Universal Studios' happy moments. I already mentioned in part 3 of this Singapore blog how to get there.
me at Helix Bridge
As soon as we reached the Beach Station from Vivo City Mall, I saw people lining up to this free shuttle service/beach tram going to different part of the beach side like going to Siloso beach.

Skyline Luge Ride in Sentosa
First on our list was to try Skyline Luge Ride. You take the cable car going up, then ride a semi-cart going down. It was so much fun and addicting. I will definitely do it again if ever I get a chance to visit Singapore another time.

Siloso Beach
Most of the time, when you're in Siloso Beach, people usually take a picture of themselves with the colorful 'Siloso' as the backdrop. As soon as we got there, it was heavily raining. We waited for an hour but it seems like the rain would not stop. We just decided to take the free tram back to the Beach station then to VivoCity mall. Aside from Siloso, one can also explore Palawan beach which is in the other side.
VivoCity Mall Foodtrip
When we were in VivoCity, we passed by a store called Old Change Kee which sells fishball, prawn nuggets, puff, etc. I could not forget the 'cheezy chicken balls on stick' I bought here, up until now. It costs 1.60SGD per stick.
cheezy chicken balls, yum yum!
We looked for Starbucks and bought icon tumblers here in Singapore. The coffee was free for every purchase of tumbler we had, yehey!

We then went to their food court for our early dinner and I bought one of the famous food here in Singapore called Laksa. Laksa is a popular spicy noodle soup with curry & creamy base.
TIP: Always bring tissue with you, they don't usually provide tissue for you.
loving my Laksa bought in VivoCity food center
Songs of the Sea
Songs of the Sea is more of a lights and musical fountain show in Sentosa. We bought our tickets in Sentosa ticketing counter in third floor, VivoCity mall. The kids would probably enjoy this stuff, but me being an adult, I enjoyed this one. We only had the standard ticket, just that one should be early to get a good seat.
Ticket Rates:
Premium Seats: S$15 / Person
Standard Seats: S$12 / Person
Show Schedule
7:40pm & 8:40pm Daily
After enjoying Songs of the Sea show, we hurriedly took the MRT and alight at Promenade station. It will take two streets to cross for you to get there. I was happy that I'm back at Helix Bridge, as it is such a lovely bridge to see.
long exposure shot inside Helix Bridge
Helix Bridge is also known as Double Helix Bridge, a pedestrian bridge linking Marina Bay Area in Singapore. Officially opened on April 2010, its unique design led to being another landmark in Singapore.
We also witnessed Marina Bay Sands' free light show which is best seen probably in Merlion Park facing the resort hotel's building. You can catch it between 8pm-10pm, always check Marina Bay Sands website for the updated schedule.
Merlion Park
A bit tired from walking since morning, in our opinion, we agreed it will be a long walk from Helix Bridge to Merlion Park. We went back to Promenade station (MRT) and took a bus to Fullerton Hotel instead. We only looked at the bus terminal's bus list and rode a bus with a number which we thought of passing Fullerton. Luckily, it did pass by Fullerton Hotel. This is the only way we knew that time to reach Merlion Park. If Jose Rizal monument is a must when in Manila, I think seeing the Merlion statue is the counterpart in Singapore.
striking colorful light hitting Merlion statue
Merlion is a mythical creature with a body of a fish and a head of a lion. It is the city's icon, a symbol of Singapore, reason it is called the Lion City. 'Mer' means sea, that the fish body represents the fishing village back in the old days.
Esplanade Theatre from Merlion Park
We took this chance to shoot ourselves in Merlion Park. Mga batang ayaw paawat! This ended our third satisfying day in Singapore. :)

Day 4 - Foodtrip and Souvenir Hunting in Bugis
Fourth day is our last day in Singapore, we decided to give more time to shop for souvenir shirts and other things we could buy in Bugis. It is also a good place to try other foods in Singapore. ^_^
Look up sa Little India
Chinese burger stall in Singapore. For me it tastes like siopao probably due to the bread used here.
Singapore is a home to fruit juices! Lovely and healthy!
For lunch, I had Nasi Lemak. Nasi Lemak is considered Malaysian's national dish. It is a fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf, which usually served with anchovies/fried fish, egg, peanuts, vegetables, chicken/ham and chili sauce.
Nasi Lemak meal variation. I like the spicy sauce!
Last but not the least, I tried chicken balls in Bugis.
I love Singapore. I've never been to Clarke Quay(should be part of our itinerary but lack time due to day1), Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, Gardens By The Bay. Add Legoland and Hello Kitty Land in Malaysia which is near the city. This is one fine city I would like to visit again. Hopefully with my best travel buddy, as they say, nothing beats traveling with someone you love. :)

Really amazing i wish one day I’ll be there, too.
Hi! Would like to ask if you have any hotel suggestion?Well be at Singaporeby November, 2 pax, 4D3N.
Thanks.
Hi Nes, you can try Value Hotel or check tripadvisor, as there are many reviews of hotel so you would know if the hotel you prefer is quite good to your expectations. I would recommend you choose a hotel quite near mrt station or bus station for easy commuting :)
