Sohoton National Park

Located at Basey, Samar, the Sohoton National Park is a massive tourist attraction that covers nearly eight hundred thirty hectares of land. San Juanico Bridge

How to get there

From Manila, you can get to Samar by either air or land. Unlike other provinces in the country, there are no commercial shipping lines that ply from Manila to Samar.  The airline companies that service flights to the province of Samar include Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines and Zest Air. For the most part, the air travel time from Manila to Samar would take an hour or less.

The province of Samar remains an undiscovered treasure for a lot of adventure seekers and avid travelers.  Like other renowned tourist destination in the Philippines, this province is blessed with a wealth of beautiful and majestic natural attractions. On top of that, the province has plenty of historical cultural monuments like the San Juanico Bridge and the Tinago Church.
