It was our second and last day of this weekend getaway. The fun did not stop in Calaguas. We're off to surf the waves of Bagasbas beach in Daet, Camarines Norte!
We bid goodbye to Mahabang Buhangin, Calaguas Islands, and we'll be going back to Paracale. We're supposed to check out Pulang Daga beach as well, but we lacked time so hurriedly, we went to Daet, Camarines Norte.
Another long ride into the sea!
Couldn't sleep because of the waves
Gold mining in Paracale
Upon arrival in Paracale, we look for a carenderia to eat as it's already past lunchtime. From there, we just walked into the van and bus terminals going to Daet. To make ourselves comfortable, we chose to rent the van and paid the other seats so we could go all the way to Bagasbas as fast as we could.
We asked the van to stopped by at Pasalubong stores, where most of the food products are made of Pili. Then the van dropped us off at Philtranco's Bus Terminal so we could buy our tickets going back to Manila. They were kind to allow us to leave some of our bags at the terminal, where we could proceed to Bagasbas beach bringing only our clothes to wear after surfing. We took a tricycle to Bagasbas Beach and there you are! We can smell of the ocean again!
We hurriedly asked if there's any surfer dudes that can help us with surfing here in Bagasbas beach. I was thankful that SANDBAR SURF AND DIVE is still available for us at that time. It's nearing 5pm so they asked us to hurriedly change to rashguard outfits. They provide this for us which is a good thing cause we're like in a competition, complete uniform not just the mentors but also the students! Cool. The pictures came from them as well. Sweet!
Jan Baldorado the owner of SANDBAR SURF AND DIVE was very accomodating and even if he's the owner he even helped his surf crew on the quick surfing lesson.
Jan teaching us how to surf.
Last pic before surfing!
No more pics na! Surf mode na kami!!
It's already 6-630 when we finished our surfing acts. Thanks to SANDBAR SURF AND DIVE they allowed us to take a bath at their lodge and even brought us orange juice after! I wish I have more time here in Bagasbas Beach, the place is awesome, it's quite peaceful that time. I'm keeping an eye on their Pacific Kaos event - a surf and skate competition this coming August.
We went to Leo's Cuisine along Bagasbas beach for dinner before going back to Philtranco Bus departing to Manila.
