Pasay City: Microtel Mall of Asia - Manila
It's not everyday I get to stay in a fine hotel within the metro so when I got invited at Microtel Mall of Asia Manila my excitement level goes up. Few nights before, I was literally in lack of sleep due to a neighbor's party rock at 2am in the morning so the thought of staying in a relaxing place is really coming to my senses.

Part 7: Hong Kong - Macau Trip Day 3 - Macau Travel Guide | Getting To Macau
Our 3rd day was alloted for a day trip in Macau. If your flight back to Manila is from Macau, maybe you could stay here for a night. But in our case, we will be flying from Hong Kong so moving to Macau to stay for one night is somehow hassle for us taking consideration of our baggages and limited vacation time.

Enjoying Singapore While on a Stopover
If you're going to be flying and will have a stopover in Changi Airport in Singapore, you'll find a lot to do before you continue on your journey. Whether you have a few hours or an overnight layover, you'll find plenty of options while you're stuck waiting for your next flight.
If your layover is relatively short, less than five hours, you may not want to chance going into town on your own because the drive there and back will shave an hour off your venture. While at the airport you can thoroughly treat yourself to a massage, spa services, work out in a gym, and even hit the showers. You can indulge yourself in a foot or calf massage at one of the many stations throughout the airport, or go further with a full massage or spa treatment. All services are free, so make the most of it while you can.
Singapore's airport also has two free movie theaters and gardens like the Cactus and Sunflower Gardens, the Butterfly Garden, Bamboo Garden, and koi swimming in a pond in the Orchid and Fern Gardens. Your stopover doesn't have to mean sitting in a cold atmosphere wishing for time to move faster because of boredom.
There are also 500 internet stations if you want to surf the net for a while. Whether you're checking email or you want to check out a social networking site, you can easily pass the time away while realizing it. You can also have access to a fax machine, photocopier, and other equipment that will help you get some work done and keep in touch with business associates.
If you'd like to take a dip, head to the Crowne Plaza Hotel which is connected to Changi Airport by a link bridge, and for a small fee you can go swimming. The hotel has its own beautiful gardens and the pool is landscaped for a relaxing retreat. With fine dining available too, you can enjoy a nice meal away from the hustle and bustle of the airport. Of course, if your layover is a long one, you can always book a luxury room for the full hotel treatment.
In the airport you will have a blast with the 4D motion simulator at the 4D cinema. Imagine yourself speeding down a ski slope and actually feeling the wind in your face. With several fun movie titles to choose from, you'll have a unique experience and feel rejuvenated too.
There are several events going on at any given time at the airport, many geared toward keeping the kids occupied and happy, which in turn keeps parents even happier. Opened in May of 2010, kids can have a blast on Singapore's Tallest Slide at T3. At 12 meters high, the kids will be impressed.
Through November 2012, you can earn chances to win in the Be a Changi Millionaire game by shopping in the airport. If you have a Changi Rewards card, you can earn more chances to win. Becoming a millionaire while stuck at the airport would have to be the best thing ever.
If you are able to go into the city, take advantage of sight-seeing tours available from the airport that will take you into Singapore. You can book the tour for free, though it is first come, first served. Tours run several times a day and last two hours.
Having a long layover at an airport can be brutal, but if you're lucky enough to have one at the Changi Airport, you might wish your flight gets delayed. It's almost too good to be true.

BEST OF TRAVEL PHOTOS: My 7 Super Shots
A co-travel blogger Christian Sangoyo of Lakad Pilipinas, tag me to do my 7 super shots. He's one of the finest travel photographer that I look up to, go check out his site and see it yourself, be a fan like me hahaha! He doesn't know but I'm one of the many of his silent avid readers who were proud when he was selected in KLM's photocontest in dpp before. So when he tag me to do this, oh no, pressure much! It was hard to choose only 7 shots from a thousand photos in your external drive. But I guess you just have to choose which photos are closest to your heart. :)

Part 1: Camarines Norte Day 1 - DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Trip to Mahabang Buhangin, Calaguas Islands
Located in Camarines Norte in Bicol Region is a beautiful group of islands called Calaguas. Me and some of my officemates have been wanting to see Mahabang Buhangin and thankfully we were able to manage to be there last year despite busy schedule from work. I also asked some of my old officemates to join us as well. There are no accomodations nor electricity in Calaguas so we'll be there to camp.

Part2: Baler, Aurora Day 1 - Places to Visit or See / Touring Baler
Touring Baler is possible just by riding a tricycle. After breakfast, and a bunch of rest, we started our tour at 10:30am but I highly suggest to start earlier than what we did to enjoy the spots more. Aliya Surf called two tricycles for us then I told the driver what I wanted to see and the tour is on!

Part1: Baler, Aurora Day 1 - Baler Transportation and Aliya Surf Resort Hotel
Baler is the capital of Aurora province located in Central Luzon region facing Baler Bay near the Philippine sea. Ever since I've watched Baler movie, I've been totally curious about the place. Upon realizing Baler is a place to surf, relax and unwind, whoa! I finally marked this place to visit last year. And so the saying goes everything is possible, I'm finally blogging about it!

17th Hot Air Balloon Festival in Clark Subic 2012 Schedule
A lot of activities and great events to choose from when entering the month of February. One of these is the 17th Hot Air Balloon Festival in Clark. I felt bad I wasn't able to witness it last year and I'm hoping opportunity knocks (my time availability hehe) so I can shoot the event this year.
Pasay City: Philippine International Pyromusical Competition 2012 Schedule at SM Mall of Asia
Pyro is back! Mark your calendars these February and March 2012 as it is another amazing event of beautiful fireworks display in SM Mall of Asia - the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition! I was able to witness at least one schedule last year on a different angle (my old post last year - http://www.adventurousfeet.com/2011/03/philippine-international-2nd.html ), hopefully I can watch again this year in a closer location. :)

Makati: Ayala Triangle Garden's Symphony of Lights
I've been hearing a lot about the Symphony of Lights in Ayala Triangle. My busy schedule at work plus buying gifts for upcoming holiday season didn't permit me to visit Ayala Triangle Garden at the earlier days of December. Thanks to Rizal Day last December 30, I was able to witness the beautiful lights in Ayala Triangle Garden.
