Canibad Beach Cove in Samal Island, Davao |
CANIBAD BEACH COVE
rough road to Canibad Beach Cove
Our next stop is the Canibad Beach Cove. It took us almost an hour to reach this cove through motorcycle or habal-habal, with lots of rough roads along the way. And since this cove is somehow hard to reach, it is said to be one of the virgin beaches in the island. Seems there's no resort here in canibad, and we encountered only one small (sari-sari) store where we bought our softdrinks to at least quench our thirst.
The beach is not really of fine sand, part of the cove mostly comprises of rough stones and pebbles. As vestal beach as it is, one can unwind here if you're looking for a quiet place to stay. When we were here, only one group of hikers from Mount Puting Bato that traverse to Canibad Beach was exploring the beach aside from us. There's no entrance fee here, anyone can visit and enjoy! :)

this is a nice treat in Samal kaso parang ang layo from Samal city proper? Aarlika kapa ng habal-habal to get there?
yup. this is located in the right side of the island.
hi, nag overnight stay ba kayo?
hindi po :)
Safe ba mag overnight dun sir?
May rooms na din ba?
We're planning to go there. Hope you can provide some info.
Thanks!
i think its safe, just that there no rooms to rent, you need to put up a tent to camp overnight
Hi,
Try checking this blog about Canibad. I'm having second thought of going to Canibad now.

hi.. yes po, madami pong habal habal. It depends po sa mga pupuntahan. Like sa canibad medyo malayo siya, you may skip it para mas makamura ka. I paid 1k (nagtip pa kasi ko) for the whole day. But I think more or less 500 lang naman ang whole day sa davao (minus canibad beach). Im just not sure today with enormous change in price of gas.
